Thanks to the results of that year Belarus was No. 1 among other countries in overall Google Code Jam medal standings.

Besides, BSU graduates being part of the Belarus team named YMTeam were leaders in the final round of the on-line qualification competitions Google Hash Code 2016. Hash Code is a team programming competition, organized by Google, for students and professionals around the world.

Talented students are inspired to further develop their skills and compete for the best results in most significant world competitions. Belarus government supports them on the top level. Winners of International Students Olympic Games on computing and programming were awarded many times by the special Fund of the Belarusian President for the Support of Talented Students’.
